ABOUT ME

My name is Patrick Richard Timmons! That's right y'all. You can call me Rick Rick if you want...

 

I'm an actor/dancer/singer who has freshly finished up his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a BFA Degree in Theatre with a Musical Theatre Emphasis and a minor in Applied Dance. Next step: The Windy City! Come November, I will be making the move to Chicago in hopes to learn from and explore their expansive theatre and dance scene.

Over the course of my career as a performer I have been extremely fortunate to work on a plethora of different theatrical projects. From rehearsing with contemporary tony award-winning scripts like Fun Home and Significant Other, to collaborating on devised pieces like Times Up and new works such as the upcoming MAXA  Musical Workshop, I've simply got a fervor for the artform that is theatre.

 

That being said, I think it's got something to do with my love for the vastness of the world in general! Living in Duluth over the past few years has afforded me the wonderful experience of connecting with an all-encompassing arts community, embracing the ever-changing weather and of course getting outdoors to see some truly breathtaking spots along the stunning North Shore.  My whacky roommates have even helped turn me into a green thumb! (But hey, that's a story for another time.. :)) All of this is to say that I've heavily enjoyed the opportunity of growing in each and every moment that I find myself a part of. As always, I can't wait to see where I'm planted next!
